Kyokushin Gym-Drachten/Grou is amember of the World Karate Organization under the leadership of shihan Kenji Midori(Tokyo/Japan).

Shihan Koen Scharrenberg is the president ot the Dutch & European ShinKyokushin Organization(NSKO) and is a member of the WKO & EKO.

The Dutch ShinKyokushin Organization is recognized by the Dutch Sports Federation & the National Olympic Committee.

Sensei Richard von Mansfeldt(4th Dan) is the chief instructor for both Dojo's. He is an International instructor, member of the NSKO board and former National trainer of the IKO.

5-times World champion/6-times European champion of the IKKC(International Karate & Kickboxing Council), former Dutch taekwondo champion & multiple International champion of the IKO.

Training is given in traditional Japanese way for: *female/male 16 years and up(beginners & higher degrees) *special fighting training class * children 8 till 10 * children 11 till 15 * special children fighting training class from 11 year and up.
